
Role purpose:
Vodacom Mozambique is looking for a dynamic, talented and results driven Acquisition Lead for the E-Commerce operation. The appointed person will own the buyer and vendor acquisition lifecycle and engage with multiple stakeholders to improve user experience across channels. The role is ideal for individuals with a start-up mindset, problem-solving skills and drive for continuous improvement.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Own all acquisition processes and activation activities to drive brand awareness and traffic to the site.
- Develop and manage a robust vendor portfolio across a range of product categories
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and manage all aspects of contracts, pricing, settlements, negotiations, discounts and quality assurance
- Monitor and track vendor performance and SLAs
- Ensure vendors are selected and on-boarded following proper procedures
- Train, upskill and motivate vendors to deliver high performance
- Drive buyer acquisition in coordination with vendors with marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels
- Work closely with technology team for UI/UX improvements
- Stay up-to-date in digital technologies and marketing trends, and use them to drive customer and vendor acquisition

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration
- Minimum 2 years sales experience
- Tertiary qualification and certifications (advantage)
