ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of this role is to implement enterprise and supplier development strategies, tactical plans including the required supporting business and governance processes, procedures, systems and tools in order to enable Sasol to meet its preferential procurement and ESD targets for all of its Mozambique local content requirements. Identify, nurture, grow and leverage both internal and external partnerships necessary to successfully execute the local content strategy particularly as it relates to Enterprise development, Supplier Development and Local Procurement. Oversee the management of the delivery of business and technical support activities provided to Sasol’s Enterprise and Supplier Development beneficiaries. Oversee the day-to-day operational activities in the area of Local content working closely with Supply Chain, to ensure all Contracts and work, in Mozambique, comply with Sasol Local Content requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Good knowledge of business planning and development particularly relating to small business development within the industry sectors of Sasol’s supply chain categories
  • Understanding of the local content requirements in the country      
  • Working knowledge of the Sasol operational environment in Mozambique     
  • Good knowledge of business operations, reporting and governance process design, project management, supply chain and SHE management systems

Qualifications:

  • B degree or professional qualification preferably commerce

Experience:

  • Min 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and communication particularly customers, suppliers, government representatives and communities is critical
