Description

Role purpose: To guarantee 100% compliance in the M-Pesa product portfolio and drive the M-Pesa product audit process.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership 
•    Perform and drive privacy impact assessments for all products in the M-Pesa product portfolio
•    To interface with the Vodafone Group and local compliance teams to guarantee that all compliance and AML related issues are dealt with in the product design 
•    To guarantee 100% adherence with the Products and Services development procedure
•    Perform Risk assessments for all products in the M-Pesa portfolio
•    To drive the M-Pesa audit process and engagement with the regulator for the Products and Services    

Core competencies, knowledge and experience
•    Written Communication – Strong ability to express ideas in writing
•    Agile oriented – Understanding of the Agile Product Development Methodology
•    Legal background – Ability to understand the mobile money legislation and apply the knowledge in the different stages of the product development process 
•    Collaborative Working – Ability to collaborate with a self organizing team to drive results.
•    Presentation and communication skills – written and oral.

Must have technical / professional qualifications
•    University degree in Information technology or legal fields
•    Strong planning and networking skills 
•    Knowledge and experience in drafting Privacy Impact Assessments and Risk Assessments will be an advantage
•    Knowledge of agile software delivery will be an advantage
•    Knowledge of financial services and the telecommunications industry will be an advantage

Key performance indicators
•    Timely delivery of privacy impact assessments
•    Timely delivery of Risk Assessments 
•    Timely central bank engagement for new products and services 
•    100% adherence of all products to the product development procedure.
